Historically women have supported other women during labor and child birth. Society has removed us from this tradition of receiving support. A Doula stands in to fill that gap.
A Doula is a non-medical professional who provides physical, emotional, and informational support
A Doula does not replace your birth partner. Similarly to a travel guide, a Doula offers essential information, comfort, and encouragement to expectant parents navigating the unfamiliar terrain of labor and delivery.
